In game character Perspective!
I think it's safe to say that most traditional RPG ppl want 3rd person because appearance is a fun part of the RPG experience, plus a lot of us RPGers are just older gamers plus, a lot of gamers prefer seeing our character and threats just behind our backs.- brainburnt
