I'd also love to know how to increase the boat speed. I found the gameplay.ini file, but sadly changing the values does nothing.

Contract Glitch! Everytime I try to negotiate a contract it says I have a 0 Base Rate. The slider also shows 0 at both ends. I can't adjust the slider and everything stays at 0. Has anyone else had problems with this? I did a contract without negotiating, and I got 0 crowns for a reward! So...
