Not sure if I missed your point here but the hands would be attached only at the wirsts whether there's a weapon hiding in the arm or not. If you're going for tendons and muscles here, I'd claim it's believeable that those could be replaced with mechanical parts in this universe.

We've already seen a gameplay demo and they said it's "playable from start to finish", which probably only refers to the main storyline but I'd say Q2/3 2019 isn't too unrealistic... Try getting into Star Citizen, maybe. You're gonna be in suspense until 2025 at least :P

As far as "aquiring" vehicles goes, I really wouldn't want to be able to get the fastest or sturdiest vehicle in the game just walking out of the first cutscene. Something like Jackie's car should be rare and about the fanciest thing you can find around there and also be considerably worse...

Honestly, clearing out a casinos Fallout: New Vegas was probably my favourite part about the game...I really wouldn't mind being able to do that in CP2077 ^^
