Do you find it fair that CDRP still uses old promo materials on TW3 GOG page

Yep, that is certainly related. Not sure if the better graphics in the cutscenes are only because of better lighting. I suspect there might be other improved visuals as well (textures, hair, maybe more). I'll certainly try out that mod. Thanks for pointing it out ! Edit: mmm, I just looked at...

The devil is in the details...

I can easily see how much love and attention CDPR put in this game. You can't make a masterpiece when you see a game as "just a project" and your own participation as "just a job". It's exceptional. The amount of detail. But also the size of the world. The dialogues of the NPCs in the world...

Do you find it fair that CDRP still uses old promo materials on TW3 GOG page

It should be simple. Every time Geralt gets in a dialogue, and every time there is a cut-scene, the graphics change. Not sure what changes, but it looks a lot better than during regular game-play. It feels like the detail of the textures changes, the lighting and shadows change, the hair...

Witcher 3 huge RAM usage (problem)?

That should not be necessary. If indeed the game uses more and more ram, and doesn't release it, that could be improved. However, if you stop the game completely, your OS (windows) will release all used memory. And you should be able to play again without any memory-related problems for a while...

Witcher 3 might be getting a storage chest!

I'd think Geralt having a home would be a bit weird. However, he could have a "base". In the first two witcher-games he seemed to have a room in an Inn. That's where he stored his stuff. Seems plausible. The fact that he could access his stuff from any Inn in the world was a bit unreal. But...

Witcher 3 might be getting a storage chest!

Do you think that mayonaise clinic has a description too, for people who enjoy whacking others over the head with a sword ? Killing others whenever it is convenient ? Killing others just because you can get away with ? Killing others without remorse ? If behaviour in games, or behaviour in...

Witcher 3 might be getting a storage chest!

You are not the only person in the world. You are not the only gamer playing The Witcher 3. You don't get to decide how others should enjoy their games. Your parents lied when they said you are the mostest speshulest smartestest person in the world.

Witcher 3 might be getting a storage chest!

I did a poll about this subject a few weeks ago. http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/42048-Storage-at-Inns It turns out that over 90% of the players (who voted in the poll) would have liked to have extra storage. Good to see that CDPR is actually listening to what players want ! ----------...

    Open world means Open world.

It's a game. It's limited by technology. That means the world has a limited size. There must be borders somewhere. I agree that the borders in White Orchid felt very artificial. But so be it, small detail. And for gameplay reasons, it's better if some stuff is blocked off. Or else you ruin your...

Making $ is way too easy

Dollars ? Dooolllaaarrrrrs ? There are crowns, oren and florens. Those are the currency in the game. And when we talk about real life, not the game, there are still not dollars here. You're not in the wild west anymore. This is commie-land !! We have euros over here !!!!! ==== A more relevant...

    Anyone have a save??

If that didn't work, let us know. I have all my saves still around (and I save very often). I should be able to get a savefile for you around any time you want. (That is: in Velen. I'm lvl16 now, and about to go to Skellige). I did let go of the spirit in the tree. Anyone who is in a fight with...

QOL: Automatic buying of ingredients for a potion at a herbalist

Please no. Games are already way too easy. Having to collect or buy recipes and ingredients is one of the few things in this game where you need to use your brain. Please don't take that away as well. Besides, some ingredients might be cheap, some might be expensive. I might want to make...

Anyone else finds traveling on foot better than on horse?

It's a role-playing game. So I like to play not for minmaxing, but to play like I'm actually in the world of Geralt. That means: short distances I walk. Long distances I ride Roach. When on horseback, I stay on the paths. When I have to go off the paths, I walk. I wish I could call Roach when I...
