Work for me with the GOG free backup version.

Does not work with Steam version (get an error about a missing axis_client.dll when launching the game). Will try it tomorrow with the GOG free backup and let you know.

That what I would like to know... Anyway, I've succeeded to uninstall Soluto and my system is back to normal (although Witcher 2 EE still does not run).

What kind of sh**t is Soluto??? After installing it and rebooting, I cannot start any app/program (even Process Explorer or access to Network Properties). Please check your solution before posting it!!!

I did not get any crash or error when launching the game; only the medallion logo stuck on screen.

Nothing there about Witcher2. As I explained in my first post, I did not get any error when launching the game; it simply does not start.

Does anyone find a fix for this issue?

Already done. Even performed a complete reinstall from Steam. No success.
