Patch on Steam fixed it for me....been playing for 40+ minutes, Ray Tracing on and zero issues....including multiple fights and driving. NOICE!

Not sure if this has already been posted/tried, but I turned off all Ray Tracing and it was very stable compared to previously. I was able to play for 40 minutes without a hiccup. Not ideal, but better than hardly being able to play at all.... 1607694821 I just posted, but in case you miss...

I'm running a Ryzen 7 2700X and as I understand it supports AVX and AVX2....so that doesn't seem to be the sole cause of the crazy crashing

Experienced multiple crashes. During/after tutorial. During rescue. During car chase. Pretty frustrating. I've verified files, run directly from the launcher, disabled overlays, using the latest drivers. Nothing seems to fix it... AMD Ryzen 2700X ROG Crosshair VII Hero (Wifi) 16GB DDR4...
