New Update? Causes repetitive freezing and crashing to desktop.
Hi, until today I had been able to play the game perfectly without any problems. Now, I can't play without my game crashing sporadically every few minutes to a few hours. At best the screen will turn black and then bring me to my...
Thank you for sharing and I can't agree enough. From the sales of the TW3 alone, I would say that point 1 is the most accurate unfortunately. I would practically beg for TW2 DLC, or any added content that show that they actually care about past players and not about making top dollar.
-More Witcher 2 characters.
-Add Iorveth, Saskia, Vergen, Natalis, Dethmold.
- Add Wicher 2 consequences and decisions.
The worst thing about Witcher 3 is that it's not a sequel what-so-ever. Make it a true sequel, add Witcher 2 content!
Couldn't that have been said about Roche and Ves? Why include them?
The point is, it wouldn't have mattered if you included EVERYONE from TW2. Roche and Ves still live in Iorveths' path and Iorveth and Saskia are still alive on Roche's path. EVERYONE that plays TW3 would be able to meet them...
You made a strawman argument. No one is advocating a "point system".
Tell me, Did you even play The Witcher 2 or are you a new player, a console player?
Because if you had played the previous Witcher games, the fact that they went ahead and disregarded 90% of that game and what it was leading...
I don't understand why so many people are against bringing back Iorveth and Saskia?
Are you new players? Do you not care that half of the people that played TW2 have had their entire play through rendered meaningless?
I keep hearing how "It doesn't make sense" for them to be here. And honestly...
That's all fine. Yet, none of that gives any reason why Anais, Saskia, Iorveth, Vergen, Dethmold, etc. are completely removed from the game. All are important characters. All of them could play a roll after Nilfgaard invades. All of those characters and locations could still work with or around...
Then nothing beats having the Yen romance shoved in my face and Triss marginalized - While fading Adda and Anais out completely.
CDPR should have learned from the rough transition from W1 to W2. Instead they kept up the tradition of horrible continuity.
But they could be important to this game. They should be.
If Roche wasn't in this game, you'd be saying that he wasn't important either - as the results at large all all that matter.
Also, those decisions in W2 do matter. You actually strengthen Henselt if you don't let Roche kill him as he...
People say that the lack of continuity in the Witcher 3 shouldn't matter because "CDPR isn't Bioware" and "they didn't promise us anything". But I don't understand how that matters at all.
The Witcher games have been a series, and while the Witcher 2 didn't have a lot of W1 content - it still...
I'd rather have expansions and DLC that focused on Witcher 2 content - rather than pointless new quests.
I want to be rewarded for all the hours I've spent playing the two other games in the series, rather than forgotten about. I'm so severely disappointed by the handling of this game.
