Remember that the relic doesn't start to 'replace' us with Silverhand until we died (which could come later for the same story I guess) and she might not have killed us as Dex does. ...thinking about why didn't Dex just unplug (or had us do it) the chip? Why do you believe that?

To be fair the chance at the start of the game depends a lot on the difficulty setting...you die if you are on the hardest(maybe hard too not sure), but they just don't have the dps on normal. Or they were made to miss all the time. Takemura - if I haven't dreamed it I watched an youtube video...
