I finally got the game to work. I ended up uninstalling the game and then I had to delete the folders that remained. After that I re-installed and patched up and it loaded up. EAX is still disabled in the menu but when I added it via Alchemy it worked. I'll repost if it doesn't last.

Again, no success after the suggestions. Here is the attached report. I ran as admin with compatibility mode on and the rest.

I am 100% certain I am running as admin. I right click the game and click run as admin. It's also checked in compatibility mode. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It works fine with the prepatched game but crashes after the update. I don't have logitech running and uninstalled everything...

I uninstalled the Logitech keyboard software and still getting the crash. I used the keyboard software before and had no issues so it's strange if that is the cause now.

I re-ran it with those Vista suggestions. It is running in admin mode. I right clicked and selected admin and also have it checked in compatibility mode. Disabled the logitech software and uninstalled Dreamscene as well but still no luck.

This is happening to me too. I haven't even been able to start the game once yet. I know my PC is able to play it since it worked prior to an OS reinstall.I've patched up to 1.4 and even installed to EAX patch just released but nothing seems to work. Turned off UAC, running as admin and tried...
