People don't think to realize the amount of work it would take. I would be like creating a new game. The engines are totally different and it would probably delay Witcher 3 into the 2016 area.

I've heard about people having this problem ever since the release. must be something with the renderer effecting certain configurations.

have you tried looking at where the symbol pops up? meaning, dont look at what symbol it has, but where on the screen its located. LEFT; UP; RIGHT; DOWN on the controller that fits with where the buttons are And I dont think you can disable it

If you get a error transferring the files, you can get a free digital version on gog.com (sister company to the makers of Witcher 2) PC version only http://www.gog.com/en/witcher2/backup/

If you get an error from installing from the dvd, something is wrong with the disc or the reader. Since it wasnt a downloaded patch we can rule out corrupted download. I take it you bought the PC game, and not xbox360? Try and copy the whole disc content anywhere to your harddrive to see if...
