I like both games. Main difference is, that Witcher 3 is story driven, with predefined character, Skyrim is not, but that makes its main quest considerebly dull. OTOH, mixing and matching mods for Skyrim (and TES in general) is for me 80+ % of the fun. Others people percents will vary, but...

I think better wording would be not "the game needs the HD pack", but "some users need the HD pack"...;-) I am pretty sure I will not use it, my PC has enough to cope with as it is.
