Do anyone know if i start from a save of act II and do the transition to act III normally if this bug will exist?

The problem is inside the EE patch.It should work without it..It's a cheap trick if somebody wants to skip this bug to use an older version of the game.I'll just wait for a patch.

I updated mine from a clean install directly to EE,so think that covers you :)

Did you reinstalled the enchanced edition too? Duckspeaker confirms that the bug is non existant in the 2.1 version.

You can use whatever downloader you wish,just make sure there is a download cap option.When all files are downloaded put them on the folder where the patch installation is and happy patching!

Yes you can install it directly,i don't know about languages though.

In your case i would use an external downloader like idm and download the parts for the manual installation,i think you can set download cap too. here are the links http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/

That's good to hear if devs won't give us a solution.And i really hope it is just this bug.. Why don't you try to continue on your EE?

I can too confirm this issue,with a gtx 680 fps can drop to as low as 35 fps during fistfights (I can't imagine the drops on some older hardware if gtx 680 reaches the low 30's. I think they changed something with the DOF in the EE to make it look better so they crippled performance?

Olds saves ARE compatible with the EE since you can load them(They should be compatible anyway because this is a patch not a new game)The whole game works just fine with older saves,it's just this bug that ruins everything,i guess the devs missed it. Sorry for double-posting

You should forward this problem to the dev team ASAP,everything else can wait because this just breaks the game. Also tell us if you need anything likes saves so it would be easier for you to fix.

I think you should get in touch with the shop from were you got the copy for your problem..

Well actually the EE is like the whole game disguised as a patch :p
