Tried 1600 x 900 at 16:9 and I'm still getting the freezes.

I dropped the resolution from my usual 1920 x 1080 to 1280 x 1025 and the only difference was that it had a longer loading time and looked like crap. Didn't mention this before, the screen freezes mainly occur in cutscenes while the lag is in gameplay. Also, here are my config settings:

Screen Freezes/Lag I purchased the game off GOG and launched it up for the first time yesterday. I got in the game and began to experience lag and screen freezes. I tried to lower the graphics settings and it didn't seem to make a difference. I've linked to a pastebin of my dxdiag here.
