Lose the annoying QTE-s please. Also, if you're going to add small skills and abilities outside the main character system like in TW2, then make them actually useful and getting them without a walkthrough possible (talking about the one that allows you to avoid traps for example).

The abilities in general feel like an afterthought more than anything. I personallty feel they could use a lot of tweaking in a later patch (or possibly a mod when sdk is finally released), to make them more interesting and useful. The conversation abilities for example are a missed opportunity...

Great post! That's exactly how i felt about it too.

I remember using this ui mod for an earlier playthrough. Including it as official content makes a lot of sense, because it's that good. Now, if only you guys could kill input lag next.

Thank you for this mod, Flash! I can honestly say, that your mod makes The Witcher a far better gaming experience. Whenever i consider playing the game in the future, i'll not start a playthrough without FCR.

I'm sorry to say it, but without a toolset TW2 is and will always be inferior to TW1. The majority of fanmade adventures may not have been as good as the original campaign of TW1, but some of them were still pretty damn good and they added a big reason for me to keep the game installed even...

I wonder if there's a similar mod for places of power. If there is one design decision about the second game that i absolutely hated, it's the fact that buffs wear off so quickly. Combine that with inability to buff your character in combat and cdprojekts fondness to insert long cutscenes...

After selling, dropping or putting witcher steel sword in storage and buying meteorite sword from the dwarven blacksmith in act I i have Meteorite sword in the scabbard on Geralts back. Soon another scabbard appears on geralts hip, although this inventory slot is empty.

What video card do you have? I had similar artifacts with my nvidia 8800 gts with 195.62 drivers. The artifacts were quite excessive and spiky balls was only one possible bug. The were always gone after a reload to appear again after a short time. After downgrading to 185.85 everything is fine.

Install the patch, it should remove copy protection from the game. The version of tages copy protection used with the game is not compatible with windows7.

Looks mostly improved from vanilla. The topic name is a bit misleading however, since strictly speaking you're not touching the models.
