There is a problem with that thinking, first of its not near future it's 2077, second if the guy does not want tech to progress why make it 2077 and not 2020, which is near future. Basically this will be the last cyberpunk game, they will have no excuses when the year is 2177 and the tech still...

Yes, the issue is moving the bubble, because you basically need huge amounts of energy. The other one is wormholes, for this one you basically need massive amounts of energy and space time manipulation to keep the wormhole open, but nothing that can't be solved by our descendants and their AI...

What bothers me is that these guys have the tech to compleatly change humanity but they just seem stuck, no progress, they basically seem content how they are. Do they have space travel or do they consider it magic :p

What would be awesome is to have a man portable 20 mm auto canon or a assault rifle that fires 500 bullets a second. Also it would be nice if some of the weapons were exclusive to full borgs.

Well people seem to get upset when I say I want a gun that shoots hypersonic munitions or a Gauss gun that has a 8 mj capacitor, hey it's the future with 10 foot tall walking tanks who would use 5.56mm ammo or its bigger cousins the 7mm, atleast give me an auto canon :)
