If you drink the unknown potions they become known(don't drink failed ones though lol). Rest are good ideas though.

None of them are really that hard to kill. I guess the koschay is the hardest but only relative to the difficulty of the others. (or the beast if you don't 1 shot him)

You need to get the alabaster statue from julian and the gold ring from the friendly vodyanoi priest, give it to the lady she'll give you a drop of her blood, you put it on the altar and it triggers the dagon fight. If you do it any other way you won't get areondight at the end.
