I confirmed, my title screen says 1.63 now and it won't load my new 2.0 save, but that's expected.
not sure if this is an option for steam users, and really doubt console users can revert. but it worked in GOG
I noticed in the GOG launcher, under "Beta channels" there's the option: 1_63_legacy_patch
2.0 patch would be required for the new dlc, I assume., but looks like those of us that didn't buy it can roll back to the REAL game, if we want
exact opposite for me. played on hardest difficulty before and now I find it too easy, because everything is coming down to my level. from watson to center city to pacifica - it's all the same
and it's unrewarding, because all loot is my level.
no more big challenges for big rewards
+1, level scaling broke the game (for me)
scaled enemies means scaled loot, so no more taking on big challenges for big rewards. everything is a sea of gray
I used to really enjoy taking on enemies that could 1-shot me, collecting crazy good gear from them which I used to mow down lesser...
to stress test a system CPU, I'd usually use "cinebench" on a loop (it's free)..
if it can do that without melting, then it can play any game, for any duration.. if it can't do that, return the system. inadequate cooling.
none. I've seen MP ruin too many single player games as everything get's "balanced". it homogenizes gameplay until it's just another flavor of dota. cause nothing can be casual MP anymore, people freak out about any perceived imbalance.
meanwhile, the PC crowd feels like they keep nerfing our game to get it to run on consoles.
they totally gimped the draw distance in 1.1. pop-in's like crazy now.
loyalty means nothing in corpo world today, not sure why it would in 2077. but being able to read the writing on the wall is everything.. and ofc he would believe it -- he clearly already knew about it. no reason V had to get caught up in the churn if he/she has skills that are valuable
What corpo V needed was a powerful corpo ally.. not Jackie. made no sense to go to Jackie with that problem.
the solution was obvious -- even today, a good corpo needs to know where power lies and align appropriately and quickly. I would've reported straight to the office of the guy I was...
Watson feels the most "complete".. as in, they actually filled it with things.
badlands is maybe a 2nd for me, but all the floating trash ruins it for me.. and the terrain has been bitmapped to look like garbage bags instead of actually putting garbage bag objects there. just more compromise...
anything but sliders.. they are super clumsy. they are just awful when trying to vender stuff.
how about hold SHIFT for 10 and CTRL for ALL (that you have mats for)
with a button to interrupt it.
I've got to 2nd this.
1st play thru was street-kid and he seemed overbearing, but.. ok
2nd play thru as Corpo and it's like -- how do these 2 even know each other!? And he's sitting there calling me "Corpo Rat".. only us Corpos can call each other that! :P
might be a neat idea, but I wonder how many people would use it, cause reloading save game is free.
and I assume getting airlifted to the hospital is going to cost eddies, reset the mission, and respawn all the baddies
not a movie, but the belters in series: "The Expanse" are cyberpunk af, imo.. especially the OPA members.
the hair and the clothes but the tech too -- it's just understated -- they do have replacement arms and such, but aren't lining up to get them. a later season even had a "media", with...
tip of the iceburg..
I'm still trying to figure out how it's still the only prototype after 50 years
and why it has to be chilled for storage, unless you want to store it in your head, where it's a balmy 98.6F.
computer chips from 2022 sure are special.
ugh hate how this builds up in my inventory.. and I noticed some of the consumables have weight and others don't.
and selling stacks is stupid clunky..
so I try not to pick up any anymore.. just eat it on the spot if I feel like it. food/drink is like .. everywhere.. so I don't feel any...
