Skill Checks Increase/Scale with Level? (2.0)

I have to admit, I haven't liked anything done with 2.0, I accepted it and learnt to play it without raging, but thinking back to 1.6, the game was so much better. The skill trees now are linear and useless unless you're using X weapon, the scaling is dull, levelling is too fast, attribute...

Ridicilous attribute requirement scaling (body 17 at level 30) forces missions to be soft-locked

While playing through PL there were a couple of times I came across a dumpster that had no check, it simply says, 'Move Obstacle'. They really need to change the Brendan check to the same thing.

Game needs a higher level cap

This happened with 2.0. I think it's because of the change with level scaling. Before, you'd have easier mobs giving less XP, now everything gives the same amount, likely the same with gigs having a set XP but now scaling upwards. Level scaling seems to have been slapped on with no consideration...

Finally tried the game (2.1) - if this is what passes as immersive world building, then I am Hideo Kojima

I do wonder why this wasn't a thing. It's one of the biggest things in Cyberpunk style RPGs. The Corps have interests and money to be made, so if a rival corp is doing something they don't like, or do like and want it, they hire mercs to go in so they don't appear responsible. Everything seemed...

    Is there a happy ending?

And that's fine, but if you're affected to the point of being distraught, maybe gaming isn't for you. Neither are movies. Or books. They're all forms of entertainment that tell stories, it's nice to get emotionally connected to a character, be it game, movie or book, it draws you further into...

    Is there a happy ending?

As you said and I highlighted, In another ending. This is a different path, a different story. You helped the Aldecaldo's and then promptly vanished with barely a word, though I'll agree the text messages sent before going into hospital were a bit weak. If I remember right, you find Panam tried...

    Is there a happy ending?

I've numbered the 3 points I want to make, as I have no idea how to multi quote. 1) Not every story has a happy ending, it's a bit of a trope for RPGs to have happy endings, you level up, take on the big bad boss and ride off into the sunset. Cyberpunk has never been that type of RPG, much...

    Is there a happy ending?

Nothing at all wrong with enjoying any part of the game, I've enjoyed my share of relationships in games. What worries me is how attached people seem to get to these relationships, such that they're breaking down RL or rampaging on forums because things didn't go as planned. Because you're...

Several issues with Cyberpunk 2 decisions made by the devs

I couldn't do it, I've just lost all enthusiasm for the game now. At least I made it to 1000 hours played, I consider that a good investment.

Several issues with Cyberpunk 2 decisions made by the devs

Yeah, that's my problem with it. I have over 1000 hours played now and used to come back to it again and again, trying some new idea, a character concept, but that's all gone now. All you are now is your primary weapon, there's no real mix and match anymore. I'm currently playing a corpo...

Several issues with Cyberpunk 2 decisions made by the devs

That bothered me too. I hadn't played a Nomad all the way through before, so made a concept for PL. Ex-military, arms dealer and weaponsmith. Build would have been assault rifles, shotguns, light machine guns, obviously heavy crafting. And then 2.0 came along and now my only character designs...

    Leveling up too fast

I think it's purely down to level scaling, they didn't adjust the XP that you get so you end up having XP equal to your level all the time, instead of less or more depending which level mob/gig you were dealing with. Looking at all the different issues, level scaling seems to have been slapped...

    New Ending (SPOILER ALERT)

When talking to Songbird on the train, if you ask who arranged the trip to the moon, she gives an accurate description of Mr. Blue Eyes, so he's definitely involved.

    Cyberware Capacity Shards.

I've found a few from random thugs wandering around. They're not a part of a gig or anything, but they do appear on your minimap when you're close to them as a yellow dot. Some are just standing around, others in groups performing activities. I haven't been farming them so don't know how often...

Phantom Liberty - The story just doesn't... work for me? (some spoilers included)

But V is never recruited, the oath is offered as a joke. Myers needs V to be on record so Reed would be more accepting. As the conversation goes, "Wait, I'm an FIA agent now?". "Would you feel more like one if you took the oath?". And you decide if you want to or not. Either way it's not required.

    New Ending (SPOILER ALERT)

It's an RPG so it entirely depends on how your character views the world and their end goal. If all your characters have an aversion to it, then that's on you, not the character. Personally, I find the new ending to be a good one, regardless. The whole goal is to find a cure so you don't die...

Phantom Liberty - The story just doesn't... work for me? (some spoilers included)

I've gone the other way with my current Corpo, she's seen the dark side of corporations and was lucky to come out alive, so now she's completely anti them, using her knowledge against them. I've gone the opposite way in a previous playthrough, where she wanted to get back into the lifestyle...

Would you pay for this DLC?

Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG, people want to turn it into GTA, a game with a story which is different. The developers went the wrong route with 2.0, like the person above, I'd rather go back too the old style too.

Clothing drops seem to be bugged in 2.02

From those drops I'm guessing you're playing a Nomad? I had the same. Now playing a Corpo and getting constant suits and pants. They must have made them background specific, I'm guessing, but the lack of almost anything else seems to be a bit of a bug. I'm level 40 with 20 Int and yet to see a...
