Those are the guns they are equipped with by default during the story when they are your companions, don't think there's a way to change them at the moment. Also, your friendly AI does not do much damage anyway even with shotguns and sniper rifles, but do a good job at drawing enemy fire.

The Piggyback map definitely looks more readable, have been using it for a while now.

Hopefully future updates will include more facial options that will let us recreate the 2018 model accurately in-game.

Realistic Driving Mod definitely helped a lot, the back end of cars dont snap out from you any more.

Definitely the Caiburn and Kusanagi. V's red and black Galena Rattler is also on my list.
