Screenshot & Artwork collection - Part II

I would love if CDP included a few high res posters like that as a digital bonus download. I can print to any paper size imaginable at school and love the art CDP produces.

The E3 gameplay demo. What do you think needs to be worked on? What did you like?

I am very happy with the combat, the lock on, block and counter attack combat of games like batman and Assassins Creed never really attracted me. I know Batman has gotten a lot of cred for it's combat and many people didn't like it in TW2 but I did and I feel like this combat is an evolution of...

The Witcher 3: Two Areas Are Over 52 Square Miles by Themselves?

I am thinking maybe Vizima and especially Kaer Morhen will have som special fast travelling system in which you get to a certain point of the map and it asks you if you want to go there. Fitting Vizima in the in game map should be possible but Kaer Morhen? It would have to be a pretty big world...

Let's talk translations and other languages

This should be true. If The Witcher sold well in Spanish speaking countries it would be stupid to not give them the same treatment as Portugese speaking people. Me myself have never understood dubing. Here in Sweden we only do it for small childrens TV shows beacuse, well they can't read...

The live 5th of June Livestream Analysis Thread

The hype is now unbarable. They just confirmed Ciri, Yenneffer and Kaer Morhen (although the 2 first were no big suprises). Everything anyone wanted story wise seems to be there.

    map

It would make sense seeing as in e.g. Skyrim you have a whole country you can cross in like 30 minutes. Of cource you always have to scale things down in open world games but at least by only having a small portion of Temeria it would be somewhat realistic.

    Next-Gen Hitman

I have never played the original Hitman games and maybe beacuse of that really enjoyed Hitman Absolution. I can't say bigger more open levels would be a bad thing though. Something about the atmosphere in Absolution just got to me...

    Dragon Age: Inquisition

Like, a hundred times better. The Fade in Origins was one miserable piece of environment.

Ny Geralt is OP. Does more damage than Kirby. help pls.

I decided to start a dark mode save and while I remember it as very punishing the last time I tried it it now seems really easy. For an Endrega Warrior to push my health down 1/2 it takes maybe 5-6 hits and this is very early in chapter one. Tried disabling Lyakon but it didn't help. I dont have...

    Dishonored 2

I really hope they manage to combine the originals wonderful art style with next gen graphics. Part of what made the game so beautiful to me were the rather low res textures and unrealistic face models.

    Witcher Franchise Speculation

The Witcher universe would make a terrific Crusader Kings mod. Just imagine all the backstabbing, incest and war mongering. EDIT: And ofc here it is: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/WitcherKings

    Interviews and Articles on TW3

While CDP feels like a company who doesn't care about this sorta stuff I at least think they are aware of the fact that Dragon Age 3 is coming out this fall. A release during the summer to get a lead on Bioware seems smart from a marketing and sales perspective. I have no doubt they prioritize...

    The witcher 3 app

When reading the books I found the wiki to be really great and used it extensively as a bestiary. It already has a mobile interface som I'm quite happy with that.

Anything been said about continuing to play after main story?

I don't know if I've come up with this myself or if I read it somewhere on this forum but depending on how the game ends, Geralt might be... uhm... unavailable. It would be a super cool feature to roam the open world as Ciri or some other Witcher (The ending could provide you wih an alternate...

    Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Have been following their blog, backed immediatley. Combining The Witcher and Mount and blade in a historicly correct central european setting? Hell yeah!

The role of Kaer Morhen and Vesemir in the Witcher 3

If TW3 get's a vibrant moding scene with many custom adventures I had the idea of having Kaer Morhen as something of a quest hub, so that when you've finished TW3 (which seems likely to be finite, you probably wont be abke to continue playing after that) you could always play Kaer Morhen, a...

    Cp 2077

Next to the lower kind of fantasy found in The Witcher (I think it's not high fantasy at least) cyberpunk is one of my favorite genres. While all my hype kinda goes into Witcher 3 at the moment I can't wait ot see what they'll do with 2077. They have already proven what they can do with gritty...

New to the series - how will I fare?

Both TW1 and TW2 have standalone stories which are nejoyable by themselves but they also contain a bigger overreaching story. It is not like in ME with the Reapers where they are the one big enemy throughout the series. I will say though that I think the games are much more enjoyable (in that...
