We also have people in this thread saying "when it's ready" the exact thing CDPR said about this whole game. It's goldfish memory. Don't get high hopes in general. For all you know the patches could end up breaking the game and adding more bugs.

To be fair the anonymous complaints from employees say that CDPR pays QA minimum wage, so it's very possible that their employees don't give a crap about quality as a result. If I was paid minimum wage I would put in minimum effort. So it's very possible that CDPR has bad QA. Isn't polands...

It's for marketing purposes, they advertised this game as having replayability saying players would want to replay the game by trying different builds. If you ever wonder why something was done in this game then it was marketing related.

Who would've thought that you can get away with scamming millions of people as long as you apologize for it.

Biggest reason why they aren't going to add the cut content (unless it comes back as DLC they sell to you for more money) is because people are going to still buy their games, still buy games on GOG. If they were to lose customers from this then they would've hauled ass to fix everything in it...

You make it sound like you can't have both. level scaling could be something toggleable or exclusive to very hard difficulty.

CDPR likes money, if people started refunding and stopped buying games on GOG they would be quick to add these features to get your money back.
