It’s a known bug. One of the many CDPR chose to ignore. It’s a shame. It added quite a bit to immersion, and anyone who only started playing after Phantom Liberty doesn’t even realize it’s missing.

Yes. While I would grant to CDPR that it is reasonable to decline requests for new CP2077 content or features, it is altogether unreasonable not to fix existing (significant) game elements that they broke. CDPR should make the game whole, at the very least, before turning their backs on it.

They have thus far declined to comment when asked specifically about bug fixes, either here or on X. One developer responded with a link to support and a suggestion to report bugs there. Given that we’re talking about issues that have been known and reported for months, it’s clearly a brush off...

They made a deliberate decision not to fix what they broke in the last update. I think we have our answer.

So far it seems the patch notes pretty thoroughly described the bugs that were fixed.
