It seems to be more common issue, since I had the same issue with Forza Horizon 5 on launch day... and it can obviously cause a crash, since the service affects the access to audio devices (since it allows you to do some software EQ or whatever - never used it tbh...) and the game needs to...

Was about to post it here, same as Forza Horizon 5, the game crashes when trying to load some audio related stuff - which then somehow involves nahmic service... Just disable the Nahmic service in task manager and you're good to go.

Doesn't help, at least not in my case, the crash is really early in launch process long before it tries to load any config files.

Ok, we have the same error then... so it seems to be maybe related to specific configuration, or just GOG version.

In my case it's access violation (0xC0000005) trying to write to 0x48 which seems suspiciously low for memory address... Can't tell much more without debugging symbols (which obviously aren't publicly available) and I'm running driver 511.65 (latest studio driver)

Windows 10, Latest drivers, no mods, Using GOG. 1.3 ran fine. Updated to 1.5 does not launch at all, just instant flatline. Cleaning all appdata related stuff, and saves... disabling all overlays etc.. Didn't help. Edit: forgot to add specs: AMD Threadripper 3990X 128 GB ram RTX 2080ti Windows...
