Cyberpunk 2077 User Reviews & Impressions

Excellent review write-up. My experience and assessment is very similar to yours (also on PC). I would rate the side gigs a little bit higher - if one reads everything and explores each of these - many of them have surprising depth and lore. CDPR has laid a great foundation. If CDPR sticks...

Have you ever played so much Cyberpunk 2077 you...

Recently, when I get behind the wheel of my real life car, fire up some Cyberpunk music, I have to take a deep breath and remind myself "... don't drive fast ... don't weave in and out of traffic ... if you hit things it will break ..."

    Still playing in 2021?

I'm 130 hours in and still on the Main Quest, probably about 60% through. I've been loving every minute of the game! Already thinking about how I'd do things different in my second play through ... I can't wait for more! Fixes, improvements, features, DLC! It's a game. It's meant to be...

Collecting all the positive aspects of the game

I agree with you - as a foundation for future growth and expansion, Cyberpunk and Night City are the perfect setting. Every building, locked door and empty space is an opportunity for more. In my mind the real star of this game is Night City itself - it is so detailed, dense and so spot on with...

Cannot unholster weapons or doble jump

Good luck! I hope it works for you too! It was a strange issue - even going back to previous saves didn't resolve it - had to try the cut-scene method.

Cannot unholster weapons or doble jump

I had a similar problem - could not un-holster any weapons in combat - I read it could be fixed by going to a cut-scene. So, I went to a hooker, did our little dance, and when I came out - voila! I could draw weapons again. JoyToy fixed it for me ;)

Wow I just realized how short this game really is.

The Cyberpsycho vet at the end of the pier was another one ... reading the archived conversations ... finding his daughter in the back of the van ... good/tough stuff

Wow I just realized how short this game really is.

This Side Job really hit home with me too, I think there's a lot of content in the game like this that people gloss over and don't take the time to appreciate. I'm curious how you played this one out? I was walking out the door after retrieving the raw footage, mission complete, but I just...

CP77 sold 13 million copies on all platforms including refunds

And people wonder why they released the game early/in this state? There's half a billion reasons right there.

Insider info from CDPR - Development timline (TW2 - CP2077)

Shocking! /end sarcasm Let's check the boxes ... developers work long 10+ hours per day ... work weekends ... no overtime pay ... cuts to project scope ... high turnover - cut the experienced (expensive) programmers in favor of young (cheap) ambitious talent ... poor project management ...

    I like this game.

I'm about 40 hours of game time so far - taking it slow. Level 15 ... just past the prologue and concentrating on side missions, exploring and gigs before going back to the main story. I LOVE this game. Been playing on PC and have seen practically zero bugs - it runs great even on my old...

    Was it the Shareholders?

Yes, I definitely think they should make some kind of strong, truthful statement about their intentions with the game. But again, as a publicly traded company, they are strongly bound by certain rules, communication content being one of them. I'm not sure what the rules are in their case but...

    Was it the Shareholders?

We do typically implement them after release, it's just a question of time and effort (if said features are still technically possible), in the next our subsequent patches. That's the problem though - we run out of time and person-hours to do all the work before the announced date - resources...

    Was it the Shareholders?

Why would a company release a product if they know it has issues for some consumers? I've been in software development for over 20 years (not gaming software but enterprise business software), this situation occurs all the time. I've worked for start-ups, public and private companies of all...

Night City quite immersive and alive

I agree. I think Night City is fantastic. Literally every block there's something new and interesting to discover, big or small. Night City is unlike any other city I've seen in any game - it's a great achievement. Do I want more? Absolutely! But so far so good. I am loving the game and...
