    Game Informer article mistake

Well, if CDPR includes her facial scar, then they'll look different enough, I guess. But yeah, from what we've seen, she DOES look like Triss, with a different hair color. That doesn't, imo, excuse game informer, since this means that they didn't ensure that all their information was factual...

    Game Informer article mistake

Dona An "ashen-haired woman" is mentioned several times. Never her actual name.

    Game Informer article mistake

Game Informer article mistake So I was reading Game Informer's latest article on The Witcher 3 (issue 256 page 43) and I saw this sentence: "We then get a glimpse of the ashen-haired woman, who fans will recognize as Triss, except her hair is now gray." Just wanted to make you all aware of the...

    Dismemberment in TW3

guipit Take a 100th REDpoint. on topic: What we've seen so far looks fine, I seem to remember Ciri being the one who went for the light, more precise attacks (like in Houvenaghel's arena).

Also, Bioware offers these choices, though their games generally aren't as good as CDPR's

    Homosexuality in the witcher

I have to agree with what's already been said. I'm warning you, OP, this thread will go completely out of control (any "controversial" thread goes insanely off-topic, for some reason). I am not even remotely homophobic, but I'll just give the same basic response as everyone else: Geralt isn't...

Pre-ordering the Witcher 3: WIld Hunt

Personally, I'll be preordering the physical standard edition for PS4 (my PC sucks, I only use it when there's no other choice, like with TW1), but I may change my mind and go for the CE.

    E3 Discussion Thread

I have read the short stories (well, only those featured in The Last Wish) and you're right, I forgot about that. He does use his Aard a lot in those, however not nearly as much as in the games (I can't even recall him using Igni). I was mostly referring to the Saga, though, where he often just...

    E3 Discussion Thread

crimzonwarrior In the books, Geralt rarely even uses the Signs. He is a witcher, not a sorcerer, and I think that CDPR handles this well.

May I suggest a missing addition for TW series?

Seems like a good idea. So does the "stats" page.

    Welcome Thread [Archive]

Wow, this thread seems pretty helpful. I've been lurking for quite some time now, and this seems like as good a place as any for a first post. I, like everyone else here, am a huge fan of CD Projekt RED's games and Andrzej Sapkowski's novels. I've got nothing else to say, really, except hello...
