Why Gigs in Cyberpunk feels like a serious downgrade from Witcher contracts...

Yea and I agree. Some of them are great, have great writing, an awesome backstory or a really intiquing theme. The problem is if you start using shards for everything. One thing TW3 for example (if we're comparing it all the time anyway, and since people don't like comparisons to similar games...

World is not interactive enough, thoughts?

Yea, regardless of the leak being legit or not, something went terribly wrong here down the line for so many promised (and some even shown / presented) features to be cut, the overall story to be this short, whole areas in the game being empty while looking like they were supposed to be filled...

We need Cyberpunk 2077 version of "Self Radio" from GTA 5 (folder we can put mp3's in that will play in-game via in-car radio station)

Metal Gear Solid V had the same, and it made the game 10 times better than it already was (at least the gameplay)

List of Missing Options (and Features)

The two posts above are great. Let me add the "adjustment of the first person camera while driving" as another suggestion. Its just too narrow. A lot of irl driving works via peripheral vision. So we need a bigger FOV here. Having to frantically move our head while driving is neither fun nor...

List of Missing Options (and Features)

That's a fair point. Me personally though, I don't see it. Im just as immersed when Im in third person. I kind of get wanting to go first-person only for story missions, or even for combat, because doing 3rd person as well would force them to put more work into making both experiences good...

List of Missing Options (and Features)

That's a decent idea. If I remember right MGSV had that feature. Yea definitely. They made such big hype around the Vodoo Boys and the black wall and all that. Would be cool to see more of that down the line. Maybe in some story expansions

This is a barebones RPG. Someone had to say it.

Somehow, in some aspects (not in all mind you, but in some), Watch Dogs Legion is more interactive and mechanics are more smooth than Cyberpunk. Let that sink in.

This is a barebones RPG. Someone had to say it.

Wow, uhm. that is telling, if its not fake. Surprised no one picked that one up actually. I mean I know the story about the bad reviews of ex-employees was in the news, but the parts that I heard were just about the general pay and crunch culture. This is an early warning sign if I ever saw...

This is a barebones RPG. Someone had to say it.

Yes they normally are. But I can tell you almost every other piece of advertisement or interview about Cyberpunk 2077 mentioned at least one time that "it's first and foremost an RPG". Until they changed their tune right before release that is and started calling it an action adventure.

World is not interactive enough, thoughts?

I wouldn't say its worse. Its different first and foremost. But it's bad too, can't argue with that. 1608303793 So much this. Like hell, they introduced all these styles for different districts and socioeconomic levels, and then they just randomize everything across all vendors. What did they...

List of Missing Options (and Features)

Literally this is such a big thing. It feels like the devs never drove a real car (I mean of course they did, but the design here is awful). Not only am I too low in my seat, so on any incline I somehow don't see the road cause of the way the camera in first person driving is set up here, but...

    Lets Talk Immersion...

Well some people look for things they dont like. Others overlook every flaw because they like something. Im happy you love the game, but not everyone feels that way. And the things we suggest sure as hell wont make the game worse. [...] I acknowledge people can like this game. Hell I like...

This is a barebones RPG. Someone had to say it.

Yea those are glaring oversights or big cuts to the meat of the game imo. I can kill any gang-member, I can betray Maelstrom or help them at the start. It doesnt really matter beyond "person X doesnt get what they wanted". No friendly, neutral or hostile gang relations, hell not even Street Cred...

    Lets Talk Immersion...

Cyberpunk 2020 (the PnP game) heavily draws on 80s/90s culture, that's why arcade games are so prominent. Id say its a peculiar choice, but it's like classical music suddenly being popular again, or chess (on twitch for example). It's a trend like any other. Maybe the chances aren't that high...

This is a barebones RPG. Someone had to say it.

I think that's a big thing they oversold on. Even putting bugs and performance issues aside, putting other little nuances aside, the fact that neither the main or side story had a lot of branching paths, nor are there a lot of interactive dynamic systems and elements in the game world itself...

List of Missing Options (and Features)

I just wanted to drop back in and kind of give a resume statement at this point. I agree with many points everyone of you made, but I think the main priority at this point for CDPR should be as follows: 1. Fix the bugs and get old-gen consoles running to an acceptable standard 2. Give your...

List of Missing Options (and Features)

Actually thats a good point that wasnt mentioned enough yet. I have yet to see a single drop of rain aside from the scripted intro where you drive with Jackie (that part was so atmospheric too with the rain!). Streets are always wer bug no rain.

World is not interactive enough, thoughts?

Its probably closest to the "Immersive Sim" genre. Deus Ex would fall in the same category. Sadly that also means they failed in delivering enough to qualify it as an RPG (the existing systems in the game that belong in an RPG are in some ways undercooked) or a good Open World game (comparing...

Why was braindance removed, especially since we can buy braindances?

Yeah they should focus on the mp after that. Because in all honesty, if they cant make the singlrplayer game interactive enough I can't imagine the multiplayer faring that well. Interactivity is a big thing, looking at games like GTAV or RDR2 Online
