    Netrunners & Edgerunners

    How did you simplify it?

    Watch Dogs as an influence

They could incorporate it as a min-game and test the waters that way. If people love it then they can create a spin-off game. Netrunning will be as hard to implement in this game as it was in the PnP game. Realworld and Netspace are vastly different. Perhaps add on some Netrunning NPCs.

    Space Travel

Yes and if you count Sub-Roles then they have about 70 Roles to choose from. Doesn't mean they need to be added to the game. There were a lot of concepts in Cyberpunk RPG, alternate realities and direct offshoots: ACPAs, Space, Vampires, Netspace, Piracy, Nano-Powered kids, etc. They...

    Easy FNFF Program

If I may make a suggestion... Add a column that called Roll leave it blank until the character rolls. So then the player just rolls and the Referee can simply input the roll (After previously imputing the Ref and Skill) and tell the player if they hit or not.

The Combat Zone & Body Lotto

I vote yes to Body Lotto!

    Justice system and investigation

Interesting idea, but if the idea is to be an Edgerunner and most likely break the law or at least sneak past it, then it should be a part of the game. Yet things like looking for cameras and such might become more tedious. I know paranoia is important in a Cyberpunk game but too much might...

    Space Travel

But there was space events in the original game, so there isn't any real mixing of genres. Its with the rail gun that Europe had the upper hand in the Cyberpunk Future Background. But I do understand your position. I never really liked that part of Cyberpunk when I played it and it almost...

GEAR and Crafting: Clothing, Armor, and doohickeys...

I feel that drugs in this game could be handled very easily and adult-like. In cyberpunk most players character's in the PnP for combat purposes or for simple role-playing. Drugs in the system should give benefits for awhile but then after the drug wears off problem emerge. Drugs for...

    Space Travel

Although I like the idea of a space game, I'm not comfortable with it in THIS Cyberpunk game. Besides what other people have already mentioned, this game needs a gritty earth feel to it, space (particularly using the material from the PnP) would make it complicated. Perhaps it should be in...

    Netrunners & Edgerunners

Netrunners & Edgerunners In the past I've had only a few people want to play Netrunners in my games. When I did have them try as I might I had a difficult time balancing out between Netrunner and Realspace Edgerunners actions. Some things I've tried: Netrunner goes in before Edgerunning...

    Simplicity in FNFF

For my games Max Damage does a few things: 1) People play combat like their lives are on the line. They use cover, concealment, sneak attacks, and use supressive fire, etc. In essence they fight like real people would. 2) It completely speeds up combat. You roll to hit, roll location...

    Simplicity in FNFF

I've never tracked weight or encumbrance on a player unless the player is carrying a very large amount of stuff or something that should slow them down (more than a dozen firearms, a dataterm, a body etc.) As for static weapon damage I considered it but instead went with another method of...

    Cybernetics: Things that seem off?

Yeah Vehicles are practical, dangerous, and realistic.

    Cybernetics: Things that seem off?

Another issue is that it might be very EASY to take out a character but, there is difference between it looking like typical combat and an intentional PC assassination attempt. Personally I enjoy acid paint balls, Sambo/Monowire, and Insanely-cybered up Boosters with cyberlimbs and appropriate...

    Cybernetics: Things that seem off?

I think Skinweave is mandatory for most Cyberpunk games. Why? In my opinion PARANOIA. If you go by style over subtance then how do you protect your face? Helmets are only welcome in Combat Areas and incur Awareness Penalties. Yes you can buy scarves and such but it will only protect parts...

    Should certain Roles be eliminated?

The Jedi thing was already stated by Chris. As for Cyberpunk any character can be built like a Solo. It's more than than just a special ability. Its the feel of the character. In RPGs you give your character that feel. In a videogame its up to those who write the game. The biggest issue...

How Big and Dangerous is your Combat Zone?

I picture it pretty much as a location where the only law is decided by the people who live in there. By description I use the Kowloon Palace from Street Fighter II V anime series as inspiration. Size-wise I have described its size as 20% of Night City. It's a huge location with an imaginary...

    Should certain Roles be eliminated?

I feel that having the main nine Roles is possible. They managed to it in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with little issue. I think one of the issues on this thread is that we are looking at the Role as the center of the character you will play. It's possible that the Role could...
