    Yen Or Triss?

That is an amusing comment indeed. If Triss shitting in the woods once had made her used to hardship, then I must be a fucking martyr, having done it dozens of times on extended hiking trips. It's even more amusing when you think that both of these women have been through wars, they've been...

    Yen Or Triss?

Geralt makes a comment about Yennefer's love of luxury in the game. But then again Geralt also seems convinced that politics and plots are "her life", so who knows anymore?

    Yen Or Triss?

It certainly feels like she does. And it almost reads more like melancholy than sarcasm. I believe it is a case where both people, while longing for normalcy, realize deep down that it is unattainable for them. Because of their lifestyles, personalities, and the reality of the world they live...

    Yen Or Triss?

I don't think there is any clear mention of a spell, but the man does act as if completely enchanted with her. I suppose you can put it down to anything, perhaps she used a glamour on herself or he simply liked her that much and couldn't figure out why she suddenly threw him aside, but I...

    Yen Or Triss?

Everything about Triss was better in TW2. Her in-game model, her role in the plot, her voice acting, and the words that came out of her mouth.

    Yen Or Triss?

It's not even that I dislike nasal tones, which I do, as much as the fact that it sounds like a put-on voice at times, shrill and unnatural. Yennefer's parts are occasionally over-acted as well, though I find her voice actor to be overall one of the most consistent in the games.

    Yen Or Triss?

This is an interesting point. I grew up consuming a lot of British media, in the form of movies and TV series and radio as well, so I suppose that my exposure to the particularities of British English made me appreciate it more than the American counterpart. I like the accents from the Isles, I...

    Yen Or Triss?

    Very astute.

    Yen Or Triss?

Why not, though? I suspect that might have been what prompted Yennefer to acquire that troll dick in the first place.

    Yen Or Triss?

Yet equally bellicose when other potential waifus appear in the landscape...

    Yen Or Triss?

She rejects Crach in the books, though, so there's that. Yennefer and Geralt were both quite loose for most of their lives, but she does seem capable to keep her knickers on for longer (post-Thanned), which cannot be said about him.

    Yen Or Triss?

I don't blame her. I bet Crach used to be a stud in his youth.

    Yen Or Triss?

Good luck bringing that one up. The name Istredd should came with a trigger warning for its devastating effects on everyone's morale.

Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers) - The Revival

I didn't bring Istredd up out of nowhere or specifically to upset you. He had already been mentioned and you dismissed that whole incident by mentioning Geralt's involvement with other women, which I then pointed out was not comparable to sleeping with one person in the evening and another in...

Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers) - The Revival

There was no Istredd-like incident caused by Geralt, though. He was/is a rather promiscuous individual, but I don't recall him ever screwing around when Yennefer was in the picture. The most "problematic" encounter he ever has is with Fringilla, after he learns of Yennefer's whereabouts, but...

Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers) - The Revival

He didn't say it, but then again, neither did she. Why is she exempt from taking the bull by the horns and being more forthcoming? I don't think Geralt fucked up any worse than she did, he just fucked up differently.

Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers) - The Revival

Yeah, let's be fair here. Geralt generally gets less flack for his behaviour because his flavour of idiocy in relationships was less tart than Yennefer's, but they were equally bumbling. Excusing one's shortcomings by laying all the blame on the other is short-sighted, to say the least.

    Why Ciri can't be romanced?

That is quite an amusing point to make considering that the only "father" that ever considered fucking Ciri was her natural one... I guess why not the foster one too, right?
  19. S

    Why Ciri can't be romanced?

That is completely divorced from the reality of the books and the game. Geralt and Yennefer were never married. Ciri was never adopted by Geralt. The game bangs you over the head constantly in regards to Geralt's paternal (and Yennefer's maternal) affection towards Ciri

    Why Ciri can't be romanced?

How exactly does an adult daughter act around a father, though? Should Geralt bounce Ciri on his knee and comb her hair and chew her food perhaps?
