Everything about Triss was better in TW2. Her in-game model, her role in the plot, her voice acting, and the words that came out of her mouth.

It's not even that I dislike nasal tones, which I do, as much as the fact that it sounds like a put-on voice at times, shrill and unnatural. Yennefer's parts are occasionally over-acted as well, though I find her voice actor to be overall one of the most consistent in the games.

He didn't say it, but then again, neither did she. Why is she exempt from taking the bull by the horns and being more forthcoming? I don't think Geralt fucked up any worse than she did, he just fucked up differently.

Yeah, let's be fair here. Geralt generally gets less flack for his behaviour because his flavour of idiocy in relationships was less tart than Yennefer's, but they were equally bumbling. Excusing one's shortcomings by laying all the blame on the other is short-sighted, to say the least.

That is completely divorced from the reality of the books and the game. Geralt and Yennefer were never married. Ciri was never adopted by Geralt. The game bangs you over the head constantly in regards to Geralt's paternal (and Yennefer's maternal) affection towards Ciri
