FPP only cutscenes might be a deal-breaker for me

I believe those cutscenes are pre-rendered. The very first scene where you follow Megan through the facility, is what I'm expecting from 2077 a majority of the time, and it really makes you feel like you are there in the game. Someone mentioned VR and regardless of your opinion on that...

FPP only cutscenes might be a deal-breaker for me

Two words: Far Cry And as for story telling, it's more about immersion. Many people complained about witcher 3 having way too many cutscenes, and that it was like watchign a movie. I guess for story telling it works, but it its not always very fun or immersive. From the deep dive video I get...

FPP only cutscenes might be a deal-breaker for me

Haven't logged in since witcher 3. Just wanted to say I fully support this decision if its true, as it would make cutscenes totally seamless and the entire game feeling cinematic at all times. I loved witcher 3 but deep down still preferred the bethesda games because of first person and free...

Anyone else not use a crossbow

Anyone else not use a crossbow because it looks stupid on Geralt's back? Maybe if he placed it on his hip, it is a small one handed crossbow after all. Are there any other ways to deal with underwater enemies besides the crossbow?

    TW3 General Feedback [SPOILERS]

I kind of agree that it is too much like playing batman games where you use the detective mode to find clues. That's why TW3 always felt more like an action game than an RPG, at least gameplay wise. But I think this is one of the limitations of a locked third person camera. Without using...

    Fallout 4

LOL.... literally the same complaints I had for TW3. Interesting. I had a problem with the dialogue too in TW3, but since the writing is good, I gave it a pass. Still, I was disappointed about the lack of choices for Geralt during conversations. FO4 new dialogue system is controversial, but...

    What Keeps you Playing?

the expansion is what made me come back. the following is reasons that drove me away from the game for awhile: - lack of armor diversity, 90% armor is useless once you picked the witcher set that compliments your build - swords are almost all useless and only good for breaking down or selling...

Generalized Questions that I am really wanting to know.

Here I have a question. I want to know how some guy using CDPR's own toolkit create an amazing mod that jacks up the lighting? I mean, it's a completely different game for me, and I know it's not the pot, my ****'s not THAT good. When I walk into a forest at dusk, I looked over and I'm like...

New Game+ Gnomish Gwyhyr suddenly lvl62 ( Other items as well ? )

Sounds like it only happens to uniques. My Longclaw also jumped from 37 to 67.

Will TW3's mod community grow as big as Skyrim's?

Nope. Nadda. No chance in hell. It seems like CDPR knows the modding scene won't ever be as big as a fraction of the Bethesda games, so no surprise that they reneged on their previous commitment to releasing the REDkit.

New Game+ is coming it seems

This is fantastic for me because i completely ignored Gwent the first time, and also had a quest or two bugged in my journal. Now it looks like I will truly go for the completionist playthrough on NG+ My biggest wish was gear and recipes, and it looks like CDPR took care of both. Fantastic...

New Game+ is coming it seems

We don't know what carries over yet. Most likely just your level, points, and gold. Would be great if some equipment and diagrams carried over, take out some of the grind. But I doubt it will be easy when the monsters will probably be level 40+

New Game+ is coming it seems

Good stuff, because there is absolutely no way am I going to hunt for all those diagrams again. I can't believe there are actually people against this; I am against new beards and hairstyles because i think valuable dev time could be spent elsewhere, but You don't see me starting a new thread...

    Knew they'd nerf.

You know what, I ain't even mad anymore. I started out with a pure signs build, ended up with about +225% sign intensity with full griffon gear at level 30. Yes, Igni is delightfully effective especially against humanoids. absolutely LOVE burning all those damn witch hunters to death. LOVE...

Perhaps the nerf on firestream was a bit too harsh.

I finsihed the game on DM with full fire spec and I can say that it is not overpowered in most of the end game. It is very effective against certain enemies, like most humans as you'd expect, animals, downers and hags, and of course trolls. Against the wild hunt or specters it is completely...

*Shove Djikstra aside forcefully* Understatement of the year. Wow, seriously though, I've wanted to wreck him for a long long time. Thank you CDPR.

Anyone else finds traveling on foot better than on horse?

Let me give you a tip about horse riding, since i've read the same complaints over and over since the game launched a month ago. - FIguring out when your horse has stopped sprinting because he hit something requires experience and 'feel', you will acquire this through hours of horseback riding...

    Werewolf quest.

I knew there was something odd about two kinds of werewolf meat. One is in your quest inv, the other is a drop after you kill him. I fed him his own meat and he died in agony. Still think the chains idea was the best though. Eternal pain, just need to triple pad lock the chains and make sure...
