GEAR and Crafting: Clothing, Armor, and doohickeys...

I fully agree. Loot should be an exciting part of the gameplay loop and that can only happen if you feel a sense of progression. Which is unattainable if you have a system where at every level you find a weapon that adds an extra +2% to damage. Don't fall into the same trap as Assassin's Creed...

    NG+ Experience

Yeah but what's the point of doing NG+ then? :p

    NG+ Experience

Not a fan of it, to be honest. I loved being poor, having to do contracts for money, collecting stuff to craft and now all that is gone. I think I will do a regular new game on Death March

    So what to play now?

If you are a storyfag like me I can recommend: - Shadowrun: Returns, Dragonfall and Hong Kong - The Secret World The only modern games I consider to be on par with The Witcher series when it comes to storytelling and writing.

    Harebrained Schemes' Shadowrun games

I agree. I just completed the Whampoa mission and I was really impressed with all the possible choices you could make, even completely non-lethal was possible. Also cool to see different etiquettes come more into focus. The matrix is a major improvement, soundtrack is amazing and the writing is...

New Game+ is coming it seems

I found Death March to be a bit disappointing difficulty-wise. So I really hope NG+ cranks things up a notch or two.

13th DLC - "Where The Cat And Wolf Play"

No, CDProjekt has lied and must be called out for giving us only 1 piece of free DLC! Fucking hell, some people here have no shame.

Does the sexuality [of women] in TW3 offend you?

If you have a powerful weapon, why not use it?

Game Journalism - Unfit for purpose?

Unsurprisingly the game has already been condemned by anti-GG.

    Suggestd Level.....WTF?

Would be REALLY frustrating if you do a quest all the way to the last boss to discover it is level 30 and you are level 5 without any indication about its strength beforehand.

Why cant we kill who we want?

Because this is not a sandbox game.

The lack of level scaling is ruining my immersion.

Level scaling is fucking terrible. Ever experienced the thrill of defeating an enemy that was much stronger in Oblivion? No, me neither.

Death March difficulty - just how hard it is?

Playing on DM, at the moment level 11. Going for an alchemy build so I am buffed up on quite a few potions and oils nearly every fight, feels really good.

    Very disappointed with the combat

Signs are useless? Are we playing the same game? When fighting groups, don't lock on, try to separate enemies from the pack and dodge instead of roll. Try to use bombs for AoE. Yrden is great for slowing enemies down. Also use your potions and oils, they can make a huge difference.

    Wolf/ghoul packs overpower me.

Igni works great on wolves. Don't lock. Don't get encircled. Let a wolf charge you, dodge, and start attacking.

Geralt's clunky movement is very detracting to enjoyment.

Combat is a HUGE improvement over The Witcher 2. Couldn't have asked for more, well done CD Projekt. Playing at Death March and enjoying it a lot. Movement is also improved although it feels a bit too weighty.
