    The Modding Community

I understand your point and why you might think so, but here are the facts for you. 1. Withcer 3 was way way more popular, hence attracted more moders capable of using lower end software the ModKIT really is compared to the redkit 2. The RedKit2 was by my account noted by most of the moders who...

Why IMO, The Witcher 1 is the best in the series - As fast as possible

Yeah a little. In some ways it's a more enjoyable quest, because you feel really motivated to catch the murderer, but overall the non-linearity isn't there, the hand holding is, it's writing has some plot holes and a "higher vampire" is exactly the same as every other vampire in the game, so no...

Why IMO, The Witcher 1 is the best in the series - As fast as possible

arguably one of the best quests in rpg history. i miss games where you can just simply fail at something and be forced to live with it. now you can at best die, load, continue, and at worst have half a screen painted in red marker pointing the way to go and what to do, so you can't possibly...

    Improve DOF?

This game doesn't need a hero... it needs a professional :unworthy:

Level 12 sword for a level 24 quest

Luckily in other aspects of pure GAMEPLAY (excluding witcher senses and not counting the story issues in Act 3 and other things deserving criticism) the game mostly shines. But yes, I fully agree with you on this. If the quests and enemies have a certain level of difficulty that means that the...

    Ermion

What's worse is that Mousesack is mentioned in the Witcher 1 by that druid in the swaps. And he's mentioned as MOUSESACK. This is incredibly baffling.

    List Your Favorite Easter Eggs!

Southwest of the place of power near Madman Lugos' place (Skellige) there is a cave. You can find one of the bear armor diagrams. You can also find three trolls there, named: - Jesse - Dodger - Joe The Youtubers :)

    [DISCUSSION] Witcher 3 - Reviews

regardless, if he truly gave skyrim a perfect rating and dares to mention inventory as a problem in the witcher, that's just hypocrisy and biased reviewing IMO.

    The Witcher 3 - Visuals

Same here :) I understand where your coming from, but the point I'm trying to make is that Marcin shouldn't have made that statement if he wasn't sure in it's authenticity. You are telling me to stop trusting trailers - I will :) - but the problem is that we were given assurance to trust in...

    The Witcher 3 - Visuals

Marcin Momont directly said that people CAN trust the trailer. And said trailer has a "IN GAME FOOTAGE" at the beginning in bold whites. If someone feels disappointed and lied to they have every right to feel that way. A lot of people love this company. That company deserved and worked hard for...

[DISCUSSION] Witcher 3 Screenshots and Artwork

Any gameplay aspect of a game can be annoying or fun depending on how well it's developed. I think and hope that this one is implemented, and implemented well :)

[DISCUSSION] Witcher 3 Screenshots and Artwork

I hope you're wrong about that. I had hoped for this kind of effect since the "52 and a half" trailer, and always thought it would be really great and lore friendly if NPCs react to Geralt looking like this, for instance shop keepers wouldn't want to sell him gear or an NPC wouldn't give him a...

How do the devs make these screenshots?

Using photoshop for quite a lot of years, I can honestly say that it's not photoshoped. That's coming from someone sceptical by nature :) You wouldn't believe what PS can do to a image, they can make it uncomparably better looking. I believe settings witch would make the game look like that...

    Graphic downgrade

I think that's a reasonable statement looking at it that way. However... Those Ultra settings can also be considered future proofing the game. When you think about this game, the very last one with Geralt as the PC, a RPG which should raise the bar for all other "AAA" RPGs of recent memory...

Witcher 3 Gameplay from GDC and PAX

I suppose it is :) On the other hand, Shadowrun DF had a bit of grass, so why not be optimistic?

Collecting questions for an upcoming Dev Spotlight feat. Miles Tost

Again, big gratitude and respect to you both for doing this :respect: My question: how many areas besides Oxenfurt and Novigrad can be realistically considered cities? Not really large villages, and of course not the size of Novigrad, but some middle sized cities both in terms of ingame size...
