    Patch 1.1

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but they really should have released this PC only and then ported to consoles six months to a year later. Trying to fix issues on all these systems at once has to be hard. If this was the "major January patch", we've still got a long, long road ahead.

Cyberpunk 2077 — Our Commitment to Quality

Kind of a bummer to be painfully honest. Playing on PC with an RTX 3080 that I built specifically to play Cyberpunk, I've been lucky to not have experienced anything I'd call game breaking. There's just... not a ton of game to break. Even as a long-time die hard fan, I have trouble praising them...

What advice would you give CDPR?

I'd tell them exactly what my old boss used to tell me, words to live by... "Get your shit together".

Lights are on, but no one's home.

I like your posts. They remind me with sadness that 14 year old Kamurocho in PS2 "Yakuza" was more interactive and alive than Night City.

So... about that next patch... will it actually happen this week?

A Gamestop memo said a patch is coming on December 21st, but that hasn't been confirmed or denied by CDPR yet.

Many needs too calm down now is the time CDPR needs support from its fans

It's not like we'd necessarily need an exhaustive list either - and it doesn't have to be "yes" to everything. "Due to tech limitations, we can't do wall running with Mantis Blades" - OK, I understand. I'll move on. Everyone might not, but I would. No company is going to come out and say "Hey...

Lights are on, but no one's home.

One of the first things that really pulled me out of the game is the food and drink. They seem like placeholders. Every club has the same menu and all the foods/drinks have the same status effect. Even Witcher 3 had a difference between eating raw wolf meat and an apple! The fact that the Red...

The 6 month Montage is a waste..

Actually, yes. The "living in my house" quote really caught me by surprise. In the Corpo life path - at least - you never even meet Mama Welles until the wake quest.

Many needs too calm down now is the time CDPR needs support from its fans

Right now all we have officially is "patches are coming next year". Hard to lend support to that. They don't have to come out and abase themselves. They don't need to clip a pinkie finger (been playing Yakuza lately). They don't need to say "This went wrong". They do need to address future...

[Suggestions]NUDITY MEGATHREAD - Remove censorship and bring back what advertised

To me it remains the principle of the thing. Witcher 1 released with censored "Romance cards" in the US. As soon as CDPR was able they released an uncensored option and by the GOTY edition had made uncensored the standard. Now they are the ones actively censoring themselves. I genuinely...

    Why I care...

Although I'm sure that some hate is getting pushed at the devs - just because that's they way it always seems to go - I would agree that that is super misplaced. They're suiting up, punching in, punching out, non-stop - to paraphrase Samurai - same as the rest of us. There's no hate in my...

    Why I care...

I was lying awake last night, thinking about Cyberpunk. What went wrong, why I care, and why do I care at 1:00 am when I have work in five hours? I don't want this to be a long post. I've said my piece and tossed out some RED Points, the forums are chock-full of bugs, missing features, and...

Witcher 3 -also- had a lot of issues. CDPR fixed them. They will this.

Witcher 3 had bugs, but it was also a much more finished game. People always talk about "The Bloody Baron" questline - but there were numerous quests where choices mattered. The little "Tower of Rats" sidequest could be finished at least 3 different ways and could even effect the endgame...

Don't forget all the optional game-changing dialogue! V: YES! V: Yeah. V: (CORPO) Yes, indeed.

A few months of patching away from Greatness!

Not throwing shade, but why put it in I guess? Why create these clubs and places that you want to hang out in - if a $5 vending machine burrito does the exact same thing? Why release dev diaries on fashion, when you spend the game in random dumpster diving chic? If the world wasn't meant to be...

A few months of patching away from Greatness!

I'm really happy that the OP is enjoying the game, but I don't get how Night City - away from the rails - can be called immersive. Every bar and restaurant has the exact same menu, every food and drink grants the exact same status effect. Last night the bartender at Red Dirt talked up an...

    Request: RipperDoc Character Customization

Although I think comparing this game to Witcher 3 is not great, barbers and hairstyles were added to that game via the second post-launch (free) DLC. As disappointed as I've been in Cyberpunk's release, I would be absolutely flabbergasted if this was not one of their post-launch contents, at...

[Suggestions]NUDITY MEGATHREAD - Remove censorship and bring back what advertised

It's just the principle of the thing. I genuinely have no idea why they bothered to make it an option. 99.9% of games don't have full frontal nudity in them. I never found myself bemoaning that Geralt wore drawers or Shepard had underwear. How many times was "customize your bits" brought up in...

What would be your preferred response from CDPR?

I would honestly like to hear about the post-launch plans ASAP. The PR people are not the folks that are actively working on fixing or developing things. They did a nice graphic with Witcher 3 which showed the first four DLC and "more coming soon". Something like that. If I know meaningful DLC...
