Why the silence [Reviews & Roadmap]?

Midwinter deja vu all over again. 1) people don't like it 2) mods say how much they enjoy the new game 3) cdpr openly admit it failed 4) mods admit it failed 5) repeat

So what was the point of removing silver cads?

I prefer gold - silver - bronze than gold - cheaper gold - bronze Golds felt more rare and awesome when played. It's just a pointless change they made, just like when they changed the card names in midwinter update and enraged the community. They change stuff that add flavor to their...

So much negativity around Homecoming on gog.com

You couldn't be more wrong about this. This may work in other products (eg. smartphones) but not in gaming. Did people want Diablo for mobile? I don't think so... Did people want less skill and more rng? I don't think so either.. If i recall, a large portion of Gwent community are ex...

Thronebreaker could use a 3rd row

First, most battles are shortened battles, which means one long round. And second, on 3 turn matches, if you have a point difference of 20+, the pc always passes first round with 7 cards in card. Also most cards in thronebreaker clog the board. - the card that summons all it's copies from the...

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

My opinion is that provision hurts more than it helps. * 1) Most notable example is the Silver witchers. In old Gwent you had to sacrifice 3 silver slots for silver witchers. If another spot was used for silver spy or weather clear/dmg/utility silver, you were only left with 1-2 free spots to...

Thronebreaker could use a 3rd row

As you progress in the game and gather army, 2 rows in the board is very limited space. Your provisions get up to 300 but they are useless because you can't fit that much units into the board. In more than half of my games i get forced to discard my cards because the board is full. Once i...

So much negativity around Homecoming on gog.com

Words of truth were spoken. None asked to remove 3rd row, none asked to remove 3rd copy of cards, none wanted to dumb down the game because it was too hard.

WE had homecoming, how about home departure?

Probably one did the "Boost" cards and the other the "Damage".

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

Remember the game just before midwinter update? When it was fun and had the most diverse meta? Imagine if instead of midwinter update, we got the board, ui and unlockables of homecoming, while keeping 3 rows and gameplay the same. Would the game had died? I don't think so.

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

The fact remains the same. None complained about weather after it got nerfed. None complained about 3 rows instead of 2. None complained about removing 3rd copy of bronze units. None compained about the lack of RNG. Midwinter failed mainly because of the dumb down of the game and the addition...

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

Care to explain how they matter more than before? Because a card (like Ge'els) that has "Ranged: Whenever you play a unit with Deathwish, trigger it's Deathwish ability", it exactly the same as "Whenever you play a unit with Deathwish, trigger it's Deathwish ability" and make the card Ranged...

    Do they matter now?

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

Well....the only reason i quit Hearthstone for this game, was strategy. Now with these massive dumb downs, it's time to go back to the superior strategy game, which is Hearthstone. As if playing only 1 card per turn wasn't strategy impairing much, they had to kill over half of game mchanics...

Now that the dust has settled....

Where is the option : Release Homecoming 2 in 6 months from now, where they promise us they'll return the game to what it was in the begining, but in truth they'll remove 1 more row and add 30 HP to the leaders? 1541201437 That's the thing when you create a new game form scratch, without using...

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

Well said. Even if "reach" and "row abilities" gave meaning to rows, then they would give twice more meaning in a game with 3 rows. Imagine catapults and siege engines with 5 reach being safer than melee and ranged units. Stronger units having limited reach. Also adds more options in balancing...

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

Let's say the devs create a card like this : AutoWIN : If you have this card in your deck, you win the game. And in order to balance it, they create another card : AntiAutoWIN : If you have this card on your deck, it cancels AutoWIN's effect. So...Is this balanced? Ofc it is. Is it Fun...

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

I disagree here. Gwent started with tournaments and money prizes while still in Beta. It was also marketed by lifecoach and others as a card game that requires strategy and not RNG. Strategy = competitive, RNG isn't. As about the design space, there is less now than it was before. The reasons...

More depth? 2 rows, 10 hand card limit, 2 copies of cards and binary artifact cards does anything but add more depth... Freddybabes explained that too in a video.

    And GWENT is uninstalled... sadly

I can't say i enjoy the game as it is now. 1) it feels too slow. 2) artifacts limit severely the strategy of the game. When you start a round with 6-7 cards and more than half of them are artifacts and artifact removals, what else is there left to play? Gone is the era of strategic plays of...

    Sihil needs to be changed

LOL First you say it's useless and you don't use it because it's too slow and then you say you're gonna quit if they nerf it. You fill all the criteria that an overpowered-card abuser has. - Types walls of text to explain why the card isn't OP and doesn't need nerf - Rages to others who dare to...
