I can't see them being anything else than a benefit. Imo Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine were both more interesting stories than the main story in Witcher 3. They also both added New mechanics, enemies, and locations that made the game feel complete.

M8, I haven't trusted devs since Molyneux told us we could grow trees in Fable 1. You have to actually play/see the product to know exactly what's in it. Hence why going in blind is good. That way you have no expectations and can judge according to your preferences for what constitutes a good game.

Yeah she already has the Tsundere thing going on which could have been expanded to an Arasaka V vs Militech Stout situation.

Militech was a huge missed opportunity too, imo. Especially with Stout clearly being meant to have a bigger role in the game.

One thing CDPR might consider for a sequel is using the Saints Row system. The better the clothes you wear/have, the higher your street cred multiplier.

Trust me, it does not have nearly as many fans as it did. It lost many after 2 and a lot more after Inquisition. Andromeda only received its backlash after EA destroyed any goodwill left. CDPR does not deserve to be treated like that. Also, are you implying 2077 doesn't work? My copy works fine...

No it isn't, especially as far as journalists go. I remember Inquisition getting showered with praise from reviewers then playing it and getting a single player mmo with a boring story. Fallout 76 is probably the first Bethesda ever got exposed to widespread media criticism.

This is what annoys me. Bioware and Bethesda get treated with kid gloves every time they shit the bed, but CDPR goes to the chopping block because a multigenerational release wasn't the GOAT on release? Excuse me?

I dunno, Mass Effect 3 has always stuck with me. Didn't help that Bioware/EA basically told the people (read: consumers funding their paychecks) complaining that they were stupid. Oh, and IGN gave that game a VERY FAVORABLE review.

That CDPR is refunding the game proves how classy they are as a company. You didn't see Bethesda offering them after FO76 or EA/Bioware after one of their multiple blunders (Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect Andromeda, etc).

I concur with this. There is a ridiculous fascination with maximizing graphics in the gaming industry now. What's funny, is that VTM: Bloodlines still has some of the best facial animations in gaming despite being way behind today's titles, graphically.

Maybe CDPR will add a level scaling feature like Witcher 3 had. That would definitely fix this issue. I still find enemies hit me pretty hard (usually after my Sandevistan wears off and I'm scrambling for cover).
