I am having the same issue. Even if I do a new game is still crashes.

I can no longer enter the game whether saved or new. As soon as I press the space bar to enter the game after loading I get this. Oh, and my video drivers have been updated. Verify Files got me into the game but crashed about 5 minutes in, giving me the same message below. Now it is back to...
