This is due to a glitch with physics where if you walk at an angle the game RAPIDLY speeds you up so when you fall 2 inches the game thinks it's 200 feet. Try sprinting against boardwalks and fences and walking off a curb while sprinting it happens all the time I'm shocked they haven't patched...

I have never been more disappointed by a game before in my life, and I'm worried that this game is going to die because it seems unlikely we will get any SIGNIFICANT dlc in the future, there's no money in it for them.

Yeah this is something they should have patched but didn't. The way things are going I'm worried it won't EVER be patched. Wish the Devs would reply to us on the forums :(
