Next Modkit update needs new features, right? Let's tell them what we NEED!

My wishlist: - GUI - level editor... haha.

Will the MODKit eventually become an "editor" like REDKit?

But that's not how modding works. On the one hand we have modders who want to make just minor adjustments or modifications to the game - like changing something in the UI, bring in some new armor/weapons, swap some textures or models etc. Those can be made with the tools at hand, so that's not a...

Will the MODKit eventually become an "editor" like REDKit?

The key word in this seems to be "right now". I still have the hope that one day - maybe when it's done...^^ - we will get the full RedKit that we all want to have. On the one hand I am a little bit disappointed myself, because I was really excited for the RedKit myself for about a full year...

Will the MODKit eventually become an "editor" like REDKit?

Feeling a bit frustrated and disappointed now, to be honest. All the long wait... for a command line tool to im- and export some files? Why didn't they just say that they dropped the plans to release a full fledged RedKit2 far, far earlier? That would have cost you exactly ten seconds on Twitter...

    Game Uncooking Problem

Thanks mate, you're a hero! And I'm an idiot, because that's something I've literally done a hundred times by now... No idea why my brain has stopped working correctly - might be due to the temperature.^^ -.-'

    Game Uncooking Problem

Game Uncooking Problem Hi everyone! I've run into a certain problem while trying to uncook the game. I tried following the instructions and started the wcc_lite.exe via cmd with the following arguments: uncook -indir=D:\GOG\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content -outdir=D:\Witcher3_Modding\Uncooked...

    The Witcher 3 Modding

Hey everyone, does anyone know (or can guess) what the poly counts of armor & weapons approximately are? gz

    REDkit?

In my opinion the Redkit doesn't even have to be complete or totally free of bugs. We'd just need some basic functions so we can start to edit the game. Let patches handle the rest later on. Meanwhile the modders can start working on their stuff... ... tbh I can barely await the Redkit. I have...

    What's that intrument?

I'd say Viola too. Two or more tracks of them, layered upon each other to create this special kind of sound.

Color Blindness - Problems with Game

Same problem here. IRL I can't even distinguish a carrot from grass... nearly blind when it comes to red, orange, brown and green; it all looks pretty much the same for me.^^

    The Witcher 3 Modding

devs: You don't mind if I ask some more in-depth questions about the upcoming Redkit? :-) 1.: Will we have access to the models and the skeletons? Like, export/import to an fbx file? Because that'd be really awesome. 2.: Which scripting language does the game use for triggers etc? Will there be...

    Witcher 3 from first person

Interesting idea, but comes with some serious problems, and the most important of which is probably that we don't know to what extents the Redkit will allow us to modify the game. And there'd be one huge pile of changes to make for a 1st Person mod. First you'd have to redo/modify most of...

The price of the game picked up for a third time

Would be legally pretty difficult to raise the price for you *after* you already purchased the game, yes. The moment you purchase something you have a binding contract with the guy that sold it to you; and I don't know of a single developed country where the legal framework differs in that...

CDPR please don't give us a generic PC system requirement list.

Ah, thx, didn't know that. I'm not really into sports games anymore... last one I actually played was FIFA 1998, I think. ;-) Concerning max settings: http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/the-witcher-3-gtx-780ti-could-push-35-45-fps-at-max.html Rumours tell that you'll need at minimum a gtx780 ti...

CDPR please don't give us a generic PC system requirement list.

I'm not quite sure what you mean with "generic". All I see is a list of hardware specs which tell me if my hardware is good enough to play this game on highest settings (to be honest: it just tells me that my pc is an old, outdatet anachronism xD)... that's why it is called "recommended" system...

    Armor in the W3

Ah, well, but some posts here stated that this kind of armor would restrict his movement, and that's what I just wanted to comment on. Long story short: W1 as well as W2 both had an absolutely amazing armor design, and though we don't know much about what awaits us in W3 (armor wise), I'm pretty...

    Armor in the W3

Actually I don't see how this armor would slow Geralt down or hinder his movement. In fact long, wide clothings are pretty easy to move in; think of the outfits (called "gi") that Judo and Kendo fighters wear. From my personal experience (many, many years of Karate, Ju Jutsu and Kali) I'd say...

What do YOU want to see ?

I'd like to see the skill tree, crafting/alchemy and a bit more combat action - especially concerning parrying, riposte and so on. That would be great. :D

    Graphical Downgrade Cont.

The game is still half a year from being completed, folks! I don't see the whole point in these graphics discussion at all. We know it's an old, outdated build they showed us; and furthermore we know that it's nowhere near being optimized completely. Imagine this scenario instead: You go to a...
