Yes it did. Otherwise i wouldnt have noticed almost instantly the NPC popins and the grass draw distance in 1.04. They made it better with 1.05 but now the game runs worse. It looked better and ran better with 1.02 and 1.03.

Can you somehow go back to 1.03 state of graphics & performance? 1.03 had better LOD, draw distance and grass draw distance no NPC popins and it also ran better. 1.04 introduced worse LOD and draw distance and pop-ins, meanwhile 1.05 made it run worse.

Agreed. I didnt have problem with the "downgrade" as in the game not looking like the trailer. Sure was a bit disappointed in missing a few nvidia features that they actually showed. But downgrading the game post-launch in a patch is just unacceptable. Especially when its the PC version...

Nope. No different. I even tried different settings from medium to ultra on all. Nothing changes. Grass still draws very close and NPCs still pop-in. Different graphic settings, HDD or SSD doesnt change anything. We have to wait for CDPR to change this back as they were pre-1.04.

Just seen the 1.05 changelog. Is this for real? They downgrade the game even more in a patch and leave it like that even though we are complaining? Why did they even downgrade in 1.04 anyway? I didnt have a problem with CDPR up until this. Fucking awesome. Guess i'll never touch the game...

No thank you. I paid for a Witcher game not a Souls game where your character doesnt even have average human stamina and can only swing a sword 3-4 times. Plus slowing down is just plain dumb. It was mocapped, that means its the speed of a normal human. Geralt should be even faster actually.
