As far as i know is the overclocked graphic card the reason for the issues. If you want you can try to reduce the clock of your graphic card (core and memory) via MSI Afterburner. That's for me the only way at the moment to play the game without crashes.

I think it is a driver problem too. I played 15 min. without reduced clock and the game crashed again.

Hello again, i tested W3 the last week with the most recommend tips to prevent the crashes. So i reduce the core clock of the graphic card around 10 and the memory clock around 50 with MSI Afterburner. Additionally i also closed the Chrome browser during playing W3. The result to this time...

You can build an ISO from the DVD. The program ultra iso can do this or deamon tools too. The iso Files can be moved to your USB hdd and then you can install the game via deamon tools on the other PC.

After a crash yesterday (after 15 minutes) I reduced the clock of my graphic card (chip and memory). I will testing it during the week and tell you approximately next week the results.

The last week I had no problems. But the last two days the game crashed 2 times in 30 minutes and once today. I did a new windows 7 installation on my PC yesterday, because I had some problems. But the crashes still there. Hope they solve this issue as soon as possible (Nvidia or CDP).

I read something that this issue is caued by overclocked graphic cards. My card is overclocked by the manufacturer (Gigabyte 770 GTX OC). Maybe i will test this week if it works better when I decrease the clock.
