welcome Ardgon mate! The combat system in the first two Witcher games differs from one another. But it's catchy don't worry. Must buy it is. And as someone said - it'll be your very first good rpg :)

CDPR deserves our trust.. Geralt deserves the best RPG trilogy (so no 4th game) yet.. Tbh I will blindly play any CDPR game, and I know loads of people thinking alike
