    The Witcher vs. other RPGs

There have been so many disappointing "classic" RPG's lately...GothicIII, Obliovion, TwoWorlds...Witcher is my last hope, really, so I don't think Tw has any competitor worth of being mentioned.New theme (or isn't it new?):What about TW console version? The kind of Gameplay surely fits into...

    Censorship in The Witcher

And what about Gothic?I was really shocked when I executed a defeated enemy for the first time there. All the blood and screaming... And it was neither adult-rated in Germany, nor in Us!To me, the possibility to decide if you kill or just knock out the enemy adds much to the realism of a game...

    Censorship in The Witcher

You sure? When I was a kid, I had great difficulties to buy 16+ games over here, in Germany. The sellers are supposed to check on all games sold, not only on the adult-rated ones. And there are parents who think that those guidelines really make sense, and refuse to buy their kids games they are too...

    Censorship in The Witcher

Sure, some switches to turn the blood and the nude scenes on and off. Then everyone will be free to decide wether he/she wants to see it or not.Possible solution, could be accepted by the publishers?

    Censorship in The Witcher

Don't need to tell that me, dude x)The way Germans threaten violence is absurd, but it is fact. So, is it going to be cut now, or can you afford to release it being rated "adults only"?

    Censorship in The Witcher

And what about the German one?I just've read about most violent and bloody scenes and moves, which gonna fall under the censorship in Germany. Will they really be excluded?! Will there be a possibility to get them back by tweacking some ini files? Will it be possible to obtain the uncut english...

There is no need to follow the book blindly,I belive there should be some freedom granted to the player to customoze the character and his behaviour, within of some borders, of corse.Sure Geralt has feelings, but there has to be a way to present it to those who don't know about it in the most...

Ask the Dev Team (old one)

You sure he understands russian? I belive he used instant translator and is asking about different attributes the Hero is going to have in TW's game system. How much, and weather those will be the same as in DD or not.
