Triss Patch -> Start a new game? Do you have to make a new playthrough in order to experience the upcoming Triss dialogue changes? Or will it integrate to your current playthrough/save file? Are there any news about this?

Yeah, after the main story, not even Geralt should be in the game world (Velen,Novigrad, Skellige etc). After beating the main story you are going to be in a save point before the final mission so everybody should still be in the game.

But there is no post game world in TW3. Only a pre-final mission-world where you can do remaining sidequests and witcher contracts etc.

Well, they said that it would be a huge amoint of work to create a post game world based on your decisions. So simply didnt create one at all. Thats why the DLCs will probably have nothing to with the story and take place before the final mission. (the save point from Kaer Morhen)

Not enough Ciri in the game. spoiler Who else thinks that Ciri should have had a bigger role in TW3 from a gameplay aspect? The whole story is obviously about her fleeing and defeating the wild hunt, but in terms of gameplay, where she follows you( Geralt) or you play as her in scripted levels...

Very good points. I hope that one of the DLCs will be in the "post" game world, which actually does not exist, tbh. But Toissant DLC is 20 hrs long, not 30. I also hope that Triss, Yen and Ciri will make an appearance in the DLCs.

Why exactly?

It would make the game world feel less lonely/empty. I think a lot of people will still have a lot of sidequests and "?" open after they beat the story. Once they get to Kaer Morhen after beating the story, doing the sidequests feels pointless and the world feels empty so that they won't bother...

The expansions will be about Geralt and will probably not interact with the ending.

If only a book existed where we could read the things that happened in TW3 from Ciri's POV....

Yeah, I loved the game-Ciri too. She and Ellie are my favorite female game characters of all time. I made this thread because I wanted to know if the books are worth reading, and If the book-Ciri is just as cool and interesting as in the game

You are completely right. The world does feel empty after finishing the story and I stopped doing the remaining sidequests because it felt pointless. And now I am thinking to play the story a 2nd time on Death March. I hope they can somehow create a better post-game world.
