Glad to read that. For me, this problem stays when I disable DOF, but it's gone once I change my resolution to non-widescreen. Same thing as in Bioshock. ^^BTW, nice LongCat-avatar. ^^

Did you try to download the Tages-Installation program from tagesprotection.com, uninstall the drivers, and THEN run The Witcher? Solved it for me, and two other folks in another forum I told this.
