    Camera Zoom

wait.. maybe i read the original post wrong.. i thought the mouse wheel was tied to zoom by default. in any case you may be able to do essentially the reverse of the above, and use autohotkey to bind pgup/pgdn to mousewheel

    Camera Zoom

it can be done if you have logitech mouse+setpoint+uberoptions+autohotkey. its worth even buying the mouse for, ie. can have nearly all actions tied to the mouse via ctrl, alt, and shift modifiers. or simply bind wheel up/down to two keys which can be used for spell up/down, silver/steel etc..
