That slider only controls GFX animals that are essential part of the surrounding scene rather than entities in themselves. It will not change the amount of killable monsters that you encounter!

I also have the graphical problem with Geralt's head floating above an invisible body. My card is an NVidia 8600GT.It still looks like a really funny adventure, though. The opening movie, even inspite of the floaty-headed Geralt, was an absolute classic!

Personally, I prefer if a developer takes extra time and releases a quality product than if too much heed is given to deadlines.I'm sure we all know a few games that were rushed out too early. ;)Thus, I am not too fussed about the delay of the EE. :)

Yeah, I think you're right. The Witcher is interesting in that there's no clear way of "winning" in most situations - it draws you in deeper than the more obvious or superficial "dilemmas" that are foisted upon us in other RPGs. It really makes you think about the *consequences* of your actions...
