    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

Yep. Didn't see it as a conflict between dumbing down or keeping something, it's more about the mechanic that Reds decided to go with that seems to get people a bit miffed.

    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

While I actually agree with everything you said, I wasn't speaking about anything like that at all. Please just read it again... Try to understand. It's not about loot. It's about using plants and ingredients in the world in more ways than simply scattering them around. What i meant was an exact...

    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

That's unfortunately the oversight on devs part rather than anything you did or didn't do. If the game has not been designed to reward exploration for various ingredients, you won't ever feel the need to find anything, ever -- by design (or lack thereof). I'm probably going to be booed here for...

    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

As I said in the sentence following the one you cited, I am perfectly aware of a ton of other incentives to go explore. In NO way did I necessarily imply there would be no reasons to explore. I only speak about alchemy, I don't care about crafting, and neither have REDs said anything about...

    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

Make a single potion contain more than one gulp. A lot of games had that - Diablo series, more recently Path of Exile has it... all pure action titles, and they still have more complexity in that particular aspect! Tie amount of gulps to level of difficulty. Make gulps effectively infinite on...

    The Witcher 3 Alchemy System

Anything that takes away the reason to explore this huge world of theirs is basically shooting yourself in the foot. With this gone, why would I bother explore woodlands or generally wild, uninhabited regions (I understand the possible draws even in this case, but it's also obvious, you'll no...

As usual, The Witcher Vault supports the title wholeheartedly. All of our staff voted! (this means 2 votes total, but hey - every little bit counts :D).

Regarding weaponry: crafting in Witcher 2 is done differently. AFAIK it's not the process of disassembly and reassembly on your own (like in TWII). So far there were hints that you will need smiths' aid in that. In Two Worlds 2 crafting is personal and skill-based with all items dismantlable (?)...
