That was the only bug I had and one time only, but it was in the middle of Chapter 5, my latest game wouldn't load, maybe it got corrupted or something, I just loaded a previous one and it was fine. The fact that the game uses a different save each time was useful for the first time, didn't lose...

I really don't understand your problem with combat.. except for sometimes not responding. But the angle? You have to be facing straight to the opponent so that the center of the camera is on it... unless you want to see Geralt from up front or other angle, in this case use some of the Isometric...
