I've noticed a massive framerate drop & stutters when meeting certain characters in cutscenes. I first noticed this in Act 1 when meeting Judy (cutscene). Later on when you interact with Judy in game there is no issue. (For me this was Pre-1.05 patch) Post-1.05 patch I have now seen this again...

Since the 1.05 patch on PC, some smoke textures are showing as polygons (no alpha), cigarette smoke is a good example. I should have taken a screenshot, but haven't got the time atm. My drivers are up to date, and as mentioned started with this patch.

Hotfix 1.04 DOES NOT fix the AVX crash!!! You can either mod the .exe yourself or download the AVX patched .exe from Nexus! CDPR should just patch this themselves as the game runs fine without crashes once the AVX hex change is made. I'm running i7 930 cpu and get good FPS at default settings.

I have i7 930 not AVX, I just played 7 hours of gameplay (without a crash) using the Save game workaround. I was able to leave apartment, explore the city & do missions as normal once I used the workaround (Nomad). I'm not entirely convinced that this is the sole cause?

Save game workaround works for me (Nomad)! Just played for 7 hours, performance is fine the only problem has been the crashes listed below. Once I did the work around the game was stable and didn't crash for nearly 7 hours of gameplay. I am not using Intel SDE as others have suggested, only the...
