    Ciri's running/walk animation

Haven't experienced any janky or stiffness, but her walk sure does look horrid. It's like she's trying to avoid stepping in puddles in case it muddies her boots. The little girl she meets has a better walk.

Is there any way to avoid the White Orchard Inn Slaughter? [Spoilers?]

Is there any way to avoid the White Orchard Inn Slaughter? [Spoilers?] This shouldn't be too spoilery considering it's only an hour or two in the game, but I was wondering if there was anyway to avoid killing the customers of the White Orchard Inn at that bit before we meet Yen? I'd been...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Does not like overclocking at all?

I'm surprised at your problems with sli, I certainly haven't experienced anything like that. And I don't think that sli is the reason why I'm getting crashes. I mention that my temps are fine within my comment. And I get the same problem whether I clock one card or both.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Does not like overclocking at all?

I've been having troubles with overclocking and crashes in this game too. To begin with I was getting artifacts. So rather than simply overclock and change the power limit, I upped the mV. No artifacts, but then it started crashing. Temps, fan speed and usage were all well within limits. Let...

Witcherman. I appreciate you rewording that, thanks. Might be the most popular thread but for the most part it's the same people commenting. Plenty of strangers chiming in, but it's a small group making the vast majority of comments. From what I've seen there is a lot of game engine related...

Yeah I already knew this. The point was about the little guys - and your belief I'm ignorant doesn't invalidate the argument. Though I have to admit I thought you were ignorant so didn't bother to elaborate.:P The kepler gpus 'error' or whatever you want to call it, only enforces my point that...

    Witcher 3 Graphics

There are still a lot of little guys who have a laptop, or a middling gpu they bought 2 years ago and can't afford a new one. Look at the poor dudes who bought a 780 and the framerate they're getting for what was a top of the line gpu not so long ago.

So because I have an awesome rig I can't see both sides of the argument? Or I'm somehow betraying my brothers in arms by trying to bring some love for the little guy? Lol. I'm actually waiting for my video to finish rendering.

A higher quality ultra preset is nothing like adding hd textures and post-processing mods. And also those are voluntary add ons, not something Bethesda was asked to include in the base game. Judging by some of the demands for the witcher 3, we're talking particles, lighting, modeling etc - all...

    Witcher 3 Graphics

Ah, if only better graphics were that simple. There is always a price to better graphics - and it's always the ones at the bottom, the ones who don't manage the minimum requirements that pay the price. If that's what the game requires then that's what it has to be. But the game is out, and the...

@Witcherman I know what footage you meant. And yes, I have eyes, I know what was downgraded. I'm not disputing that it happened. And as for how hard it will be for them - 1. You, nor I know what state the game was in when they showed off that footage. Hell, as far as either of us know that...

    Witcher 3 Graphics

:) Well my rig can just manage a steady 60fps @ 3440x1440. Any more graphical fidelity than what's on offer and my system will start to choke. Well even just being close to Sword of Destiny - is going to require a much beefier system than even your 980 sli to run it in 4k. Would you want it to...

By that token, there's no need to even reply to my comment, is there? But yet you do. I can only assume it's because I don't 'subscribe' to your opinion. I'm not picking on any one person, my comments aren't directed to you specifically. Well how would they be able to address it properly? By...

I know the ins and outs just fine. Which is why I said 'still.' Fact is - all this bellyaching is getting nowhere, valid argument or not. There's nothing being said that is constructive and really all of the past 30-40 pages are simple regurgitation. We know what the deal is, what happened...

Runs like garbage after 1.04 patch

I imagine this has to do with the textures quality increase and perhaps a lack of necessary vram.

How to get a Stable Framerate in The Witcher 3

How to get a Stable Framerate in The Witcher 3 I go over the settings you should turn down that have the most impact on your framerate, but better I go over how to make a profile for the Witcher 3 with RTSS, a program which can dramatically improve stability and smoothness in the game. Hope it...

    TW3 General Feedback [SPOILERS]

Do missions and quests if you want xp. The monster areas seem to be more about extracting resources than farming to gain levels. Also, Geralt gets paid if he kills monsters for others, and doesn't when he kills them for himself. I think that translates pretty well.
