Which save file will you import? (Spoilers)

See I don't think that's true. Granted I've only read up until the last book that has been officially translated into English (baptism of fire?). Concerning the choices, I feel the following are the ones Geralt from the book would do. Not necessarily a neutral witcher because, to be fair...

    Combat in The Witcher 3

From looking at those GIFS, the combat is looking MUCH better. Thing is, I don't think it has anything to do with them tweaking anything, but rather just a much more fast-paced and aggresive play-style. Whoever was playing was actually linking attacks with multiple enemies, instead of just...

    NEW 6 minutes gameplay "teaser"

My two cents on the trailer (for anyone who might be interested): The Good: -Dem Graphics. They be sexy. Don't know what everyone is complaining about. I think the game looks great. A few stuttering issues, but nothing I can't see fixed by the time the game rolls around. -Movement around the...

DAE find lack of blocking from human type enemies extremely immersion breaking?

This thread is sexy as hell. I've wanted combat like this for YEARS. Literally, years. Every game that does sword to sword combat is so arcadey it pulls me straight out of the game. Assassin's creed is the closest game I can think of that does it differently, BUT... the next sentence is so...

The E3 gameplay demo. What do you think needs to be worked on? What did you like?

No point in fixing something that ain't broke. The slow-mo was the fear takedown, a new move. Looked cool as hell. Not to mention: -Larger area with improvement animations/movement (didn't even know there was anything to improve - but Rocksteady are to game play what CDPR is to story)...

The E3 gameplay demo. What do you think needs to be worked on? What did you like?

Best of the series - no doubt. Best RPG for some time - Most likely. GOTY - Yesterday I would have completely agreed. Then i saw the Batman Arkham Knight Trailer.

The E3 gameplay demo. What do you think needs to be worked on? What did you like?

Well... I have to be honest. That was hugely disappointing.... Part of this is really my own fault. In fact, most of it is my own fault. My expectations for this game have been stupidly high. After watching all the trailers and the devs talk about the game, I really was expecting not the...

Good consequence ideas for choices made in WItcher 1&2 impemented to Witcher 3

I don't agree here mate. I would say considering the massive impact this choice had on Witcher 2, it's time is done. Importing choices and changing a game based on player choice is an expensive and difficult thing to accomplish. Priority should go to the choices that didn't have visible...

    Sex in The Witcher 3

I see. So it's just the fact that no-one has done it right up to this point. Fair enough.

    Sex in The Witcher 3

Here's a question. Why is interactive sex a bad thing? Keep in mind I'm not saying that it is what I want... nor am i saying I don't want it. I just want to know why most of you seem adverse to it? This may be obvious to you but indulge me regardless. If we can agree that sex is really just a...

    Feedback to the devs

Focus mode? What's that? I thought Witcher senses and focus mode were the same thing?

    The Witcher 3 Signs

Right but they still have to be useful. You make them too weak and they become pointless. It's a tough balance between lore and gameplay.

    The Witcher 3 Signs

I just assumed that when they said two different versions, and from seeing the trailers, that it meant in a purely combat sense. I'd be down for more social uses though, no question. Again, though, I don't see how Quen or Yrden could be implemented there. Axii obviously could, yes.

    The Witcher 3 Signs

Wouldn't that be too slow? I think it would disrupt combat pacing. Also, they have to stay as true to the lore as possible - and I don't remember Geralt chanting before setting shit aflame.

    The Witcher 3 Signs

The Witcher 3 Signs Got this idea from reading another thread. As we know the signs are each going to have two different versions - technically giving us 10 different signs. I was wondering how people thought CDPR was going to break this down and what you'd like to see. Igni seems to be the...

    The Axii Sign

Yeah, in the books (from the first 3 books at least) it's a calming spell. It seems to be basic mind control - ala "jedi mind trick" but a very weak version. It gets pumped up a bit in the games. On a somewhat unrelated note, didn't CDPR say something about removing one of the signs we had in...

    Witcher 3's weakest areas?

True, but Skyrim was developed late in the PS3's life cycle. This has a very large effect. Comparing Skyrim on PS3 to it potentially being on PS2 doesn't work - as the Witcher 3 will be very early in the PS4's life cycle. A better comparison would be something like an early PS3 game (really...

    Witcher 3's weakest areas?

Oh i was always expecting bugs - to expect no bugs in an open world is just silly and unrealistic. I'm saying that I expect there to be a number of quest-breaking bugs and, unfortunately, maybe even a few game-breaking ones. It's an open world larger than Skyrim, larger than any previous effort...

    Witcher 3's weakest areas?

Witcher 3's weakest areas? Before I get into this, let me first say I'm really excited about the game and I think its going to be excellent - maybe one of the best games ever made. However, when you look at what CDPR is attempting to accomplish, well... it is a big ask and, if they were to...
